Manufacturer InformationIn 1973, Bobby Hinds was selling insurance, making decent money, but getting more and more out of shape. As a former NCAA boxing champion in the 1950's for The University of Wisconsin, Bobby knew that jumping rope was great exercise, so he started jumping again. While the jump rope became Bobby's best-selling product, he wanted to develop a piece of equipment that could provide a full-body workout, but small enough and light enough to be completely portable. After several improvements over the years, we know this product as the Lifeline Deluxe Gym, which consists of a Fitness Cable, Lifting Bar, Treadmill Belt, Door Attachment, Carrying Bag and instructional booklet and video. In order to be completely portable, Bobby selected rubber surgical tubing to provide resistance, instead of weights.
