Manufacturer InformationSince 1997, the Exped Team has designed and built the highest quality, specialized gear for the active, outdoor enthusiast. Such equipment is designed to appeal to everyone from the casual hiker of the Appalachian Trail to the technical climber in the Himalayas. Every user expects his equipment to meet exacting requirements, and at Exped, they build products intended to surpass those expectations!
Warranty and service:
Exped tents carry a 5 year, limited warranty on defects in workmanship and materials. At its discretion, Exped will repair or replace any part that fails due to manufacturing defect. Failures due to normal wear, negligence, accidents and acts of nature can usually be repaired for a nominal charge. Please see your outdoor retailer for details or contact Exped.
And why not cheaper?
The main costs lie in the materials used. Sure we could reduce the costs by half using cheaper components with the result that the product would be half as good or even irresponsible: Good looks
under the shops lights and frustration out in the field. |
